Since the government set up the Gender Equality Index two years ago, companies with more than 50 employees must measure their position in terms of professional equality each year. The better a company (< 250 employees) performs on the 4 indicators defining the Index, the more points it obtains, the maximum number of points being 100. In the event of a score of less than 75 points, the company will have to take corrective actions, under penalty of being fined.
